TCOM Department Admission Requirements
Admission to the Masters of Science in Telecommunications Systems Program requires the following:
- A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution with a grade point average of 3.0 on the last 60 hours of credit.
- University of Oklahoma application form with applicable fee
- Official transcript(s)
- Three Letters of Recommendation
- Official GRE scores
- Engineering, CS, Math or Physics undergraduate background
For non-EE students, completion of four of the following courses at undergraduate level prior to full admission
- Electromagnetic Fields I
- Signals and Systems
- ECE Lab III
- Intro to Electronics
- Microprocessors System Design
In lieu of taking these courses, students may opt to demonstrate their proficiency in these subjects by taking the respective final examination and scoring a minimum grade of B.
OU Graduate College Admission Requirements
Regular admission to the Graduate College of the University of Oklahoma requires a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution with a grade point average of 3.0 on the last 60 hours of credit. Please consult the Graduate College Bulletin for further information on admission.
Application Materials
Please complete the University of Oklahoma application for admission.
Submit the $40 application fee ($90 for international applicants) with your application.
Arrange to have official Transcripts of all previous college work sent to:
